Looks like I've not, until now, posted any of my Brillant razors. Time the change that.
Brillant was a DDR-razorbrand. The made some really nice plastic/plastic-metal slants that shave pretty well.
Recently however I found a razor made by Brillant, steel, and differential in the sense that one side is regular and one side is torqued. I've seen these before, but never by Brillant. This being completely steel makes me think 1950s at the latest. No idea how this one shaves as I haven't tried it yet.
Funny: the knob is marked as if it is an adjustable razor. It is not.
As you can see the razor is rather coarsely teethed. Also, on the next pic, there's a dot on the cap and a dot on the handle. These need to be aligned in order for the cap to fit properly,
Putting the cap on backwards makes it not fit correctly:
Cap clearly shows it is torqued:
Rust. So neither brass nor zamac.
