Funny name for a razor that is not a slant in any way, nor is humpbacked to force a slanted stroke. Still, it is a slant, so I had to have it
Original case, original blade packs. No research on company yet, but the patentnumber is US2098851
He does have a separate color combination, the handle and shaving head are of the same material?
The handle looks like plastic and the shaving head like bakelite.
Looks like there's more than one variety of Slant Stroke razor. This one here is also "not a slant" (but it does have a nice looking humpback design on the cap!). Maybe it's just my particular example, but it's a bit weird. With the blade inserted one way, both sides of the razor are really too mild for me to get a decent shave. With the blade and cap removed and inserted the other way (turning both the blade and the cap together 180 degrees), I found one side of the razor again was too mild to use while the other side was no problem at all. So I ended up finishing the shave just using that one side of the razor. All in all, not a stunner!
There's one on ebay right now that looks brand new, the case says "Perfection" razor, the head says Slant Stroke. It's a buy it now, may I post a link?
